Linwood's two general stores and hardware store are surely worth visiting. Linwood hosts two festivals, Snofest and Summerfest, both of which offer fun, food, and family entertainment.

Further west on Ament Line (Township Road 11), notice the Mennonite parochial school, many farms with shops, as well as the Linwood Rod and Gun Club. Just before the Trail turns left onto the Township boundary, Road 116, farms owned by Amish people appear. After a left turn onto  Road 116 (Township road 20) south, just around the corner, one will not want to miss a visit to the fabric shop, the footwear and lamp shop, and equipment shop run by Amish people. This road may reveal many surprises.
